Learn more about Kelly’s history and love for music.

Kelly, who started writing songs at age five, spent her early career performing in coffee houses across Rhode Island. She eventually decided to stretch her musical wings and move to NYC, where she broke into the independent music scene and began playing local clubs while collaborating with various musicians in NY and Los Angeles. Kelly has performed at many historic venues, including New York’s The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall.

Kelly has released seven CDs and four EPs, her latest being ‘Fires.’

“Pizza and Fairytales,” a love song Kelly wrote about her former mentor, was featured in the Fox Searchlight movie “Trust the Man” and can be heard on the movie’s soundtrack. “Ties That Bind” and “The Brooklyn Hours” were both used prominently in ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” promos during the 2010 season. In 2013, MTV used “Girl On” from ‘Carmine Street” for their new show “Big Tips Texas.”

Kelly has 10 videos under her belt, all directed by award-winning director Patricia Chica. Their most recent video, “Heavenly Ride,” was filmed over two days in Los Angeles, CA.
